Calendar and Contact Synchronization

How calendar and contacts move between Microsoft 365 and AutoCRM.

Calendar

  1. After connecting the account, go to External Accounts → Outlook and enable calendar sync.
  2. Choose the target calendar (typically the default “Calendar”). The SyncOutlookCalendar job runs every 10 minutes and:
  3. creates/updates events from CRM meetings and calls,
  4. pulls changes from Outlook back into CRM.
  5. If data is missing, check that the job is Active and not paused by the scheduler.

Contacts

  • Send Contacts/Leads to Outlook manually via the Push to Outlook action (record or mass). The action calls OutlookContacts/action/push.
  • Create a dedicated folder/label in Outlook to keep CRM contacts separate.

When a contact is sent

The push action runs immediately. The module does not create an automatic contacts job, so there is no waiting interval.

Email (IMAP/SMTP)

  • The Outlook panel on email-account details appears only when host contains office365. or .outlook.com.
  • IMAP/SMTP uses OAuth2 – no password storage. If the password changes, simply re-authorize.
