Maintenance and Inspections

To ensure asset operability, the module offers tools for tracking maintenance and legal inspections.

Maintenance

Used for recording repairs, service inspections, or vehicle washing.

  1. On the Asset card in the Asset Maintenance panel, create a new record.
  2. Fill in Description (what is being done) and Date.
  3. You can record Costs (Price).
  4. Maintenance status (Planned, In Progress, Done) helps plan downtime.

Note: Maintenance does not automatically block reservations unless a "Service" type reservation is also created.

Technical Inspections

Used for tracking MOT dates, electrical equipment revisions, gauge calibrations, etc.

  • Date Performed: When the inspection took place.
  • Valid Until: When the inspection expires.
  • Result: Passed / Failed.
  • Attachment: Protocol from MOT/revision.

The system monitors the technicalInspectionExpiryDate field on the asset card. A new technical inspection should update this date (depending on internal processes or automation).

Compliance

Tracking of documents and permits necessary for operation (e.g., highway vignettes, entry permits, insurance).
